When I press the power button, I get the black screen with the HP logo but nothing else happens. If the booting doesn't succeed, try a different timing on releasing the `Fn' and `B' button. I then disabled USB booting, changed UEFI to legacy support. useful reference I don't think this is a problem with hardware or a lose connection, as the laptop works really well when you have managed to get it working.
