It doesn't support ID3v2.4 tags with UTF-8, and I would have to jump through hoops for flac support, hotkey ratings and the like. Ps. What Is Real Player Used For Can't beat the bare-bones-ness of it. Windows Media Player But Nothing Is Comparable to Quick Time Player.

I've found that Media Player Classic, the "HOME CINEMA" version (important) has the best default setup for tricky HD videos on older machines. Leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.
