Windows 10 is an absolute nest of drama, as you've noticed.Basically, the reason you weren't a "screw Microsoft" guy is that you weren't paying attention. Microsoft it seems does not appear to agree with that and can't take no for an answer. Some applications reconfigure PC settings to try to optimize performance and will disable Windows services in the process, sometimes affecting one or more of the four services listed above. But I do find it hilarious that all those that took up the ‘free' Windows 10 upgrade are now finding out ‘why' MS gave it for free.
